Five Months

As I write this Creighton is in his walker just smiling at me.  He has been the happiest baby! I love it. He's been blabbering like crazy lately and I love hearing him.  I think that we never really took the time with Cayden to enjoy him.  Sad huh?  You'd think it'd be the other way around.  But with Creighton we've noticed so many things and have enjoyed him as a baby so much more.  I think my job at that time made the difference! I'm home way before 5:30 am this time around.

Some things I've noticed/like to share:

Creighton's nails grow so fast! I swear I'm clipping them every other day, at least.

He has TWO teeth now!  The 2nd one broke through yesterday (FINALLY!) hehe.

He has tried pears and sweet potatoes.  We got the go ahead from the doctor to let him have one serving a day.  Mainly to let him taste the food and let his stomach get used to it.  It isn't nutritionally needed for another month but its good to let him taste them.  And so far he LOVES baby food.  Creighton gets so angry when we don't hurry! :)

He loves staring at his daddy.  And sometimes gets mad and starts crying if Daddy doesn't notice. 

He's SO chubby!! But only 18 pounds and to me that seems so small when I feel like he weighs SO much! Carrying him up 3 flights of stairs (21 stairs.. haha Cayden and I count them almost every time we climb them) in his carrier is getting a little tough.  Lately I just carry him down.

Creighton wants to sit up SO bad.  He does really good for about 2 min and then he falls forward - you know the big head and all. But in his car seat he always is trying to sit up.  And I just realized that that seat we had for Cayden doesn't go backwards. at least that is what I'm gathering from what I have read - you never know though. My brain has been fried lately!

Creighton still ADORES his big brother.  I'm so excited to see that relationship grow and flourish! :)
