The only Child - for a couple more days..

Oh man.. I had this long post all typed out and decided to copy and paste it to another post and it got lost! :( so sad..

But here are the highlights (of what I can remember anyway..) :

* Cayden has really "blossomed" lately. He can say up to 20 words and about half of the Alphabet with some numbers thrown in too. He's been really mimicking a lot. Its too cute.
* His teachers at his "school" are just amazed at how well he's been doing and how smart he is. And might be ready to go to their pre-preschool.. which I didn't know they had such a thing.
* His 6 month evaluation is on Thursday - hopefully we hear through the data that he's improving..
*At age 3, we get kicked out of their program and sent along our way to the School District. Apparently thats the age that the school system takes over.. That'll be interesting huh? ;)
* I'm worried about his transition to not being the only child anymore. He doesn't like when my attention is divided even for a little bit. When playing, if I look away his hand comes right up to my cheek and pushes my head back to his gaze. Its adorable.
* We've been talking a lot about Grandma coming and staying with him while mommy has the baby. We also look at pictures of her and Cayden gets so excited. He even said Grandma *with some prompting..* Cool huh??
*Cayden's such a sweet little boy (when he chooses) and as of right now -he's standing next to me on the couch and laying his cute head on my shoulder. Poor baby has a stuffy nose and that sounds gross that close to my ear.. but I still love him :)
* In the mornings, he comes running into my room and we cuddle and watch some tv while I get a few more minutes of shut eye. :)

Here are some recent pictures of Cayden.. I can't get over his handsomeness.. It makes me wonder what Creighton will look like.. If he'll have Cayden's bright blue eyes or the blonde hair? We'll see soon.. But enjoy these:





This last one - we were eating lunch and he had taken two bites and fell asleep. It was adorable!! :)
