Lots of Family Time

Lately we've seen alot of family and I feel super lucky! I guess it was almost a month ago I got to spend time with Emily. Then Dad, John and Hannah came to get Emily. The next week, I got to see Dad again. Then last Wednesday, Laura, Carl and Joseph stopped by on their way to Idaho. Twice - second time on their way back to Wyoming! :) So all I'm missing is seeing Sarah and crew and my momma! (who I get to see in about 5 and a half weeks!!!) Sarah - I think I'll get to see you around Christmas right? Sad it'll be so long.. but at least its better than in 5 years. right? ;)

I've seen Adam's family a lot this month too. We had our Easter party and then last night we had a birthday party for Adam's brother Eric who just turned 29!! :) Thankfully the weather somewhat cooperated and we got to have the party outside. Creighton gets really stressed - because I do - when the Benson parties are inside their parents' house. Having 8 grown children and some with families makes the house a bit crowded when we all try to fit into the front room! :)

A surprise or two happened last night at the party. One was that Cayden is usually the bullier and no the "bullee" (Make sense?) He was getting beaten up by his older but smaller cousin (only 6 weeks older) and got a couple good scratches on his face. I'm surprised because Cayden usually is the first to throw a punch or shove at the parties. He didn't even fight back - shocker! He just stood there like "what did I do?" and then there was one or two hits that sent him running to momma to kiss his boo-boo's. The other surprise is that with the game we were playing as 'grown-ups' I won!! Hahaha.. It was a bean bag game from far away and so awkward!! But I won the second round. I hate being the center of attention but it was a lot of fun.. haha..

I love Family and I'm so happy that if I do my part I can be with them for forever! I love that!! Family is so special to me and I hope that you all know that I love you and wish we were always around each other!! And lived closer to each other. I miss you all very much when I'm not around you. And also - Thank you for being my family and loving me for me! you are all awesome!
