I wear stress on my face.. *long post*

I'd take a picture but it's not pretty..

It's just not cool either.. Not only is my face breaking out with the preggers hormones.. but I'm stressing out because of stuff this week and next week and all that.. :) so yesterday a big ol' cold sore popped up on my bottom lip.. Sucks so bad!

Adam says I complain too much on my blog.. so here's some NONE COMPLAINING babbling.. :)

Friday was Cayden's speech therapy and he did so well. Melissa started working with sign language with Cayden. It was the first time she did to help his frustration. So as we were doing different activities, like puzzles, Melissa would keep all the pieces and have Cayden ask for more. So she would say "More?" and do the sign. And I would help him do the sign for it. After about 5 or 6 times of me doing it for him, Cayden automatically asked for more with his hands and he was trying to say more at the same time.. It was the cutest thing!! :) It just made me giggle cause he caught on soo fast! Melissa was gushing too over how smart Cayden was which always makes a momma so proud :) So we're working on the signs of more, help, all done and please. Its cute how much he loves to use the sign for more. He uses it for all the other signs too when I ask to see what a certain sign is.. And Cayden is starting to communicate more with us. He's babbling and a little incoherent but it is kinda understandable which is such a relief after who knows long of not getting what he's trying to get or say. It is awesome to see progress and it's only been 3 or 4 times with Melissa. I think May is his 6 month check up.. But Melissa still will come 2 weeks a month.. I'm just so proud :) I was just beaming after she praised Cayden and made him feel good too :)

I was also going to update on my stupid crazy work schedule. Well I'm scheduled 40 hours a week.. but last week I worked 32.. I'm missing 8 hours which is okay with me since I was averaging 18-22 hours a hour before.. AND I was getting way more sleep then I thought I'd get.. AND Cayden has been taking 3 to 3.5 hour naps!! I have to wait til 1 pm for him to sleep but hey.. a 3 hour nap!? It's so nice.. I only had one night last week that I worked my full 8 hours, 2 nights were 7 hours and the other 2 were almost 7 and almost 6.. Which before December I wasn't even getting my 6 hours a night I was scheduled and needed for a decent check.. So I'm not complaining..

Although tonight might be a 10 hour night, since it is the busiest day for the post office. They are expected about 850 million pieces of mail being sent out today! And for the season, 8.21 trillion pieces.. Which is great for the post office! Since the post office isn't funded by the government, only by the postage, supplies and PO boxes.. Crazy huh?

The stupid thing about my work though is when I get there at 7 pm they have a 10 hour hold for the employees and then they call it off by 11 pm.. And right after they call it off they start forcing people to leave.. (We're only guaranteed 2 hours of work a day) The supervisors need to learn from last week and realize they don't need to overreact to high numbers.. The night shift people can HANDLE IT!! oh boy.. It gets really frustrating!! :)
