Okay.. so we're getting a belated Christmas/Early birthday present for Cayden- a big boy bed.. We've made his crib so that he has maybe the same height blocking him as a bed rail would and he still just sits there yelling for us to get him.. So.. since the baby's coming and we might reuse this crib for him/her (probably not.. Cayden beat it up very quickly..)
So anyway.. here's the frustrating part.. We are buying the twin mattress and the frame from Costco but the mattress doesn't come with a box spring.. LAME! And with the frame you kinda need a box spring... Where in the world can you buy a CHEAP box spring by itself? Ughhhhh... :)
Any ideas would be great :)

look on craigslist maybe?
Craigslist is a great idea. We found a cheap mattress/box spring at a generic mattress store....not like Mattress Giant or anything like that...just some podunk furniture store that sells bed may have them! :)
Deseret Industries has knew ones and so does Sam's club!
