Cute quirks

Cayden has so many little quirks about him its adorable. For nap time, he runs into his room throws his pillow and his blankie in the crib (he takes them out when he wakes up and makes sure they are in sight at all times.. haha) After doing that, he turns on his music box thingy (he's had it since birth..) and then goes to the night light. This is the cutest thing ever. Its a night light that can either change colors between about 7 or 8 colors or stay on a particular color. Cayden knows exactly where the button is to change it and always makes sure it is on the color red. Even if its on red when we get in there, I think he likes pressing the buttons til it goes back to red. He sometimes misses it so he goes "around the horn" to get it back. Its so cute. I smile everytime!

Earlier this morning, he found the bag for the legos and started picking them up. I was quite impressed that i even texted adam how awesome Cayden is.. but right as I hit send, I heard the wonderful sound of the legos being dumped out again. :) So I go "excuse me?" and he gives me a look of "oh crap I just got caught.." haha.. So we put them back together.

Cayden is a lovebug! He loves hugs and kisses and cuddling. Even if he's a "hurricane" he still is very loving. You just have to hold your arms open wide and he'll run towards you with his arms wide open and hug you so tight. I love it!

Cayden is so smart. He might not talk yet but he's super duper smart! He knows where everything goes. He even knows what I'm talking about when I ask him where certain things are. Our TV has the AV jacks in the front and since its a way old TV (Adam's teenage TV) you have to prop up the AV jacks with something underneath for the sound and picture to actually be decent.. But when someone slams a door either next to us or below us, sometimes the jacks get messed up.. so Cayden goes over to the TV and messes with the jacks until the picture/sound are back! haha (Time to save for a new one!)

Cayden's getting really interested in the potty. We got him one of those toilet seats to put on top of the adult's seat. Everytime he's in the bathroom, he'll open the lid and put his seat on it. Then he'll try to pull down his shorts and take off his diaper. I think we need to get a stool for him to step up on it because he never can quite make it without racking something (sorry.. TMI.. haha) But I don't think he'll be potty trained for a while since he's still on the bottle.
