My own personal Alarm Clock - Lucky me!!

That's Cayden.. He's my personal Alarm Clock.. Tuesday night I got the CRAZY idea to put just the crib mattress on Cayden's floor and see how he does. Adam's CRAZY idea was let's just take apart the crib and be down with it. I just wanted to keep it intact so that if the mattress-on-floor idea doesn't work we can just put the mattress back in the crib. Well this morning at a wonderful time of 6:15 AM I hear on the monitor some crying and whining.. ten at 6:18 AM I hear a creaking of a door opening (Adam's getting ready at this time I'm still trying to sleep) and here comes Cayden walking out of his room.. Ugh..... He first saw Adam in the bathroom and went and snuggled with him.. And then I got up and yeah....... too early!! Haha.. but I need to do our grocery shopping and I like to go early.. so around 8:30 we're heading out! :) yay.....

but other than waking up early.. it's been somewhat of a smooth transition.. Cayden fell asleep at the door on Tuesday night and he cries himself to sleep but he LOVES his bed on the floor.. We're doing all this because come October and his 2nd birthday we're getting him a twin bed!!! how exciting huh?? Hehe.. He's growing up too fast!!!!!!
