Thursday is coming way too fast.
I'm extremely terrified. Everyone keeps saying "oh you'll be fine.." Anyone ELSE hate that phrase?? It feels like when people say that that they don't really understand my concerns and my fears. Here they are in no particular order:
#1 I've never been "put under" before and I'm scared I'll have a panic attack
#2 The IV goes into your hand - had one when I gave birth (probably every mother has..) but it KILLS!! And I'm not a big fan of it..
#3 I can't breathe for a long period of time thru my nose.. I tried practicing at work last night and I almost started hyper ventilating because I couldn't breathe!
#4 Seeing blood when I'm on an empty stomach- I'm scared I'll be dry heaving (or puking up blood as my brother in law told me he did.. Thanks for that!!)
#5 Adam will take pictures and constantly be laughing at me - not in a mean way but he laughs at me when i'm being "cute" and he thinks its going to be SOOOOO cute how drugged up I'll be from being put under..
#6 That I'm going to be the first person to die on the operating chair.. Morbid I know.. but it has passed through my mind once or twice or 6 times :)
So keep me in your thoughts because I'm going to need alot of help from Heavenly Father just to be CALM enough to not have a panic attack.. I'm that scared!! :) Probably equally or more so than I was when I learned I had to have a c-section (mom remember that?! yeah.. not a great experience..) Fun.......

Going under is kinda cool. One minute you are counting down from 100, the next you are in a chair.. (except I was really allergic to the pain meds and was puking when I came to... probably shouldn't have told you that..) But it was ok. The pain is nowhere near as bad as a c-section. And you should have someone check out your inability to breathe through your nose. :) I know, so helpful. Sorry. Good luck!
You'll be ok...hahahaha. Kidding!! KIDDING! :)
But seriously, you will. Especially after worrying so much, you are bound to sail thru this with flying colors.
I'll be praying for your nerves, though. WE LOVE YOU!
It's not that bad. I've had root canals that are worse. I wasn't put under though so I don't know how that works. I was even eating meatloaf that night(though I don't recommend that one...it just smelled so yummy;) Good luck!
I know how you feel, I was terrified to get mine extracted. But, the gas made it all better! They just gave me shots in my mouth, and then gave me the gas. I'd ask for it if they have it. It made me a little loopy, Jared had to keep telling me to put my tongue back in my mouth. hahaha! Also, another thing...we got a WaterPik afterwards, and let me tell you, that was a life saver in getting little food particles out of the empty crevices of used to be wisdom teeth. Anyway, best of luck, you'll be fine!
