Pictures & Update

Our little monster is doing great. He is still very attached to his blankie and bottle. I've been trying to lower the amount of milk each time he has a bottle. Which are just for naps and night time. He's so far not a big fan of it. But he'll get over it ;)

His speech isn't moving along quickly and I'm okay with it for now.. I still work with him and different words and such.. Any suggestions on how to help him besides pointing things out and saying the word??

He has his two bottom Canines. So that amount comes to 14 teeth! 4 molars, the 8 front teeth and 2 canines.. Geez.. :)

Cayden's personality is nuts! He loves to run into the room and go BAH!!! and then run out.. He thinks he is just soooo funny! :) And he is.. Cayden always has me laughing.

He's a big fan of the trash and bringing me things from in it. Gross!! But now it's in the laundry room - which he can open the door now. So we're gonna need to buy those door handle kid-proof things.. Which might be adult proof as well.. :)

All in all Cayden's awesome and the best kid I could ask for!!!! :)

I think you're doing an awesome job as a mom!! And just saying the word when pointing to things is a great way to start working with his vocabulary. Singing ABCs and other fun "word" songs, and reading to him (like I'm sure you do already) is helpful as well! Great job!! Cute pictures!

Man! He is getting so big!!! I can't wait to see the both of you!!
And mom is right...just talk and sing to him, teach him songs.
That is what I wish I would have done with Bella more!! It has made a big difference with Aube...just TALKING to her. Bella being the first and a quiet one, we didnt "talk" alot, unfortunately!

When the girls were smaller I would pretend I was the star of my own reality show and talk about what I was doing and why to my imaginary film crew while the girls and I were in the car, or I was cooking in the kitchen, etc. That and Sesame Street has helped to enhance their vocabulary. :)
