In my attempt to be more domestic.....

I have added my cousin Ashley's recipe blog to my list of Favorite blogs.. And let me tell you - I'm so trying most of those ;) I'm still a picky eater at 21 years of age... But I do try new things which I am going to do with these recipes.. The one I'm most excited about is the Banana Pancakes!!!! :) Especially the tip about freezing them and then toasting them when needed for Cayden Monster! Cause Its hard to think of breakfasts besides the regular cereal and toast. I've never thought of making pancakes for him.. Weird I know! haha... But I copied all the recipes I'm willing to try in the next two weeks and am going to get the ingredients tonight when we go grocery shopping for the next two weeks... Don't even have to say it but our grocery bill gets big cause we shop for 2 weeks and more.. Just in case :) haha.. Can't wait to be stable in the money department.. Yay.......

So I'm super excited - now just need to COOK them and not be lazy ;) Which I would cook more if I had some yummy recipes besides Hamburger/Chicken Helper to do.. And lookey here I HAVE YUMMY RECIPES TO TRY!!! :) Thank you Ashley for creating such an awesome blog... I might have a total of 2 to share with the class if you want... :)

Speaking of Family.... Today is an important day for two special ladies in my family. One is my lovely mother - who is having a stress test. She has been in my thoughts since this morning around 6:45 when she had to go in for it. That time in itself would STRESS me out.. :) I'm hoping it went well and can't wait to hear from her- I'm actually kinda antsy..

And second is my wonderful Aunt Karen- who is having her hand operated on.. and let me tell you- I'm super excited for her! :) Click here and she explains what is happening but ifyou don't wanna go to that.. here's what is happening - "3 joint replacements and 3 joint revisions -- all on the left hand for a total of 6 joints that will be changed.... new and improved." How exciting is that? :) Yay for karen!! Good luck.. Hope rehab goes well and it all works out - which I know it will...

So I was blog hopping - and read one of my sister's friends' blogs about her missing family and I have to say... I totally agree.. There is nothing like the people you've known your whole life and the acceptance you feel with them more than anyone else. I do miss my family a lot and wish we all lived in the same area (down the street would be nice...) and wish Cayden could play with his cousins on the Sargent side more often and know that side as well as he does the Benson side.. I feel like I am close to my mom at least I feel like a momma's girl a lot cause I miss her tons. Last night, I broke down to adam after having a lovely night of stress of finances and a dirty house.. And just said how I miss my mommy and my daddy.. And how I just can't wait to be able to spend that weekend in November with them.. I just wish Sarah and company could be there.. :(

So this has turned into a long post again- SORRY :) Just like typing alot even though I should be sick of it since I do it for 6 hours straight 4-5 days aweek...

Yay! I'm so glad people look at my recipe blog. I was going to delete it a couple times because I thought it was silly. But yay!
