12th Month of Cayden

YAY!! Its his birthday today!!! Cayden will officially be one at 3:32pm!!

He's being a GREAT little boy today and taking a nap for mommy so she can get some things done.. Important things- like blogging! :)



When he woke up today (which was at 8 am.. he must have known it was a special day and he had the right to sleep in), I went in there saying Happy Happy Birthday!! Today's your birthday! And he just got a big smile on his face. I think he knows its special!! :) All day I would be saying Happy Birthday Cayden and he just does his little giggle and smiles. :) So around 10:30ish we decided that he and I should go to the little park behind the building next to us. So a 20 feet walk- if that. That is when Aunt Sarah called and sang him happy birthday!! And he just smiled and laughed - oh and I forgot to tell you this Sarah- he tried kissing the phone!!! :) (Its his new thing of wanting to kiss everything!) After talking to Sarah for a while, Cayden got to sit in the baby swing and swing for a while. Then we tried the slide! I helped him down the first two times, then I was brave and let him do it himself. And he would sit on the flat part on the top then scoot his little bum down til he got to slide down so fast! :) He LOVED it so much.. Then it got kinda chilly and we went inside for lunch. And now he's napping :)

I'm super excited that my little boy is one! Its been quite a year- with a lot of challenges, laughter and fun! I wouldn't trade the last year for anything. I love my little boy and he just gets cuter and cuter.. :) We're gonna go get him a little treat tonight (then I have to work..) and then he gets his OWN cake on Sunday. I hope to take pictures of the event. But we'll see...

Well I'm off to do other things so I can spend my time with the Birthday Boy without worrying about chores!! :)
