Our Adventures at.....

I had SUCH a blast. I promised Adam one rollercoaster (but secretly I promised myself to go on any that they ask me to, because it was going to kill me!!)

So Here is the list (With pictures from Lagoon Website)

My VERY First rollercoaster EVER was the Jet Star. It looks pretty scary. And it was! But I got through it!

Second ride I went on was the ROCKET. There are two different things for this ride. One called Blast Off and then Re Entry. Blast off accelerates from ground level to 200 feet straight up in less than 3 seconds. HOW CRAZY IS THAT!!! (The other one lifts you up to 200 feet and then drops you.. Re entry, get it? ha ha) Well This one I was asking adam if I was holding on to the harness right and in the middle of my question we FLEW up in the air. John (adam's dad) was watching us and he said my face was hysterical! Wish we had our own pictures..

Next was the Bat. Kind of a lame name and they said it was tame compared to the other ones. On this one, your feet dangle and it just wasn't a cool feeling to have them like that. But it was fun!

We went on Tidal Wave after we went on the Bat. It's a boat that swings quite high. I didn't like to look to the sides so I stared at a lady on the other side of the boat. Probably thought I was crazy but hey better than throw up!

After the Tidal Wave, we took our chances on The Spider. That is nuts. The car you sit in twist and turns while you're going down this crazy track. So not cool. A few choice words came out of my mouth and lots of SCREAMING! I always thought I'd be afraid to scream loud but obviously not and the other people in our car can attest to that!

After the Spider, was the worst roller coaster ever! My thighs still hurt from CLENCHING! THis one was the COLOSSUS!! It has TWO loops!! And it freaked me out. (Boy wasn't I brave?!!?) The wait was worse though. Seeing it constantly go and then they sent the only car they had out by itself twice. But I don't think I'll ever go on that again. Scary stuff!

Then the "stupid" wild mouse (as Adam puts it). You go up this hill and then you had these downward sharp turns where it makes you feel like you're going to fall off. So not nice. But it was one of the tamer ones.



Next was the "White Roller Coaster" which Lagoon calls it Roller Coaster. How original huh? That was fun to go on. No loops just really steep hills up and down. Then after those we went on the "scary" rides. Which Adam and his brother Scott were way scared while me and Lindsay (Scott's girlfriend) were just laughing at them! It was funny!!



After that, we met up with everyone and went on Rattle Snake Rapids which was SO FUN! We went on it twice at the request of Colleen ( Adam's mom, which this was her only ride). And that was the end of our night, so we drove home SOAKED pretty much. But still fun!!

All in all, it was a good day. None of us got sunburned (just a little red on the cheeks). My feet got blisters. Adam was good on that department, none at all. And Cayden (who rode two rides with Grandpa Benson.. posting of pictures to come shortly..) was great. Only cried hard once, when he was hungry. A thank you goes out to Grandma Benson who was nice enough to watch Cayden while Mommy and Daddy played!! :) (OH and adam won me a SMALL husky dog stuffed animal.) Sorry for the longness of the post! I had SO much fun!!! :) Good first experience of roller coasters!!
