Tuesday around noon, I got a text message from Adam saying, "Stitches anyone?" I was thinking, since he was just at a safety meeting, he had seen a gross picture of a person needing stitches. But after I reply What?! Adam calls me and tells me the story. He was sharpening his "boning" knife. His hand slipped and this is the result.
The white circle around it is from the deadening stuff. :) I met him at First Med to be of moral support. I also know how he is when he is around blood and what not. The nurse came in cleaned it up and deadened the spot. Then the doctor came in. It was really cool to see the doctor stitch him up.
Then three stitches later, we were ready to go. At least he got the rest of the day off. :) In about 9 days we need to return to get them taken out. Lucky Adam. Now its starting to get painful. But that makes sense since he cut his muscles!! But he's using it to his advantage at home. "Jen, my arm...." :) Gotta love it.
