About our Busy, Busy Weekend..

Saturday was my birthday and I had a February Birthday Lunch with the Benson Girls.. It was a lot of fun. We ate at Pei Wei which was actually pretty good and everyone's first time. All my sister in laws and mother in law are awesome! :) Never a dull moment! Then after that I called and got a hair appointment right away. Which from a previous blog you can see that didn't go TOO well at the time. Then, not wanting to go home and sit on our butts, we went to the mall to spend my birthday Money from my in-laws! I bought Cayden a gorgeous new sunday outfit and the pants are BROWN Herringbone!! Its so cute! I'll have to get a picture of Cayden in it. The rest of the money went to a tip for Dee's Resturant and Baby Orajel (I'll write about that later..) After eating at Dee's for Dinner, we went and RedBox-ed some movies. When we got home, Adam frosted my birfday cake which was Funfetti Cake Mix with Rainbow chip icing! YUMMMMMY!!! :) I blow out my twenty one candles and then we watched our movies (Which I fell asleep in BOTH! haha)

Sunday, we went to church (obviously..) and had our lesson with ONLY the 4 year olds!! Which was nice not having the 3 year olds cause then we would have had AT LEAST 10 kids!! Yay for us.. :) After church we took a nap. Then got ready for the Benson Family Video Party! It was so much fun!! We had dinner and then watched the movie on our projector.. It was such a good video. Adam's Brother Scott is REALLY good at it! :) Then after we returned the movies and got more movies from RedBox. Which ADAM slept through the first one! They were kinda freaky movies.. Vacancy and Disturbia! But still good.

Monday (I'm considering it part of the weekend cause I had those three nights off) Adam and I had a day date all by ourselves with no baby boy! Cindy watched him for us. We had lunch at the Mayan Adventure which is really cool! And then we saw Fool's Gold. Which is really good as well. Then we played games in the arcade for a while.. 20 bucks worth! And all we can show for it is a Family Guy keychain and a cheap harmonica. But we were missing CAYDEN so we went and picked him up..

Today.. We cleaned out Adam's car which was MUCH needed since ALL the paper ads and coupons we get in the mail go STRAIGHT to his front seat.. Since I sit in the back with Cayden.. And Adam gave his car an oil change as well.. And tonight we're babysitting Cindy's kids on a trade from yesterday.. Max and Monica are pretty much the cutest nephew and niece on the BENSON SIDE.. :) Don't worry Sarah, Bella and Aubree are still my favorite! ;)

OH! Sunday Cayden had a bit of a fever and so we gave him some tylenol before the family party.. and when Adam's Dad was feeling Cayden's gums and HIS TOOTH BUDS ARE SWOLLEN!! So yeah.. Our handsome devil is teething already.. He'll be 5 months in a week and 3 days.. Wow.. He's advanced ;) But he's been really "chomping" on his hands and fingers and being quite fussy so we stopped off and got some Little Teethers (Orajel) medicine.. He really likes the flavor.. Anyway.. We off to get ready for babysitting!! Wish us luck.. This will be a great birth control.. We definitely won't want another kid for a while..
