Yesterday was the funeral for Robert Darwin Benson (Adam's Grandpa). I did not know him very well but it was still sad. But I'm so happy to know that he is back with his wife (who passed 8 years ago..) and is very happy and well now!
It was a great service.. Full of tears! And seeing Adam cry was very touching and I love him so much more! I've only seen Adam cry a few times.. The night he proposed, our wedding night and this funeral..
I love his family.. Even the cousins, who don't really click with Adam's family! His family is the odd family out kind of thing. The cousins are all pretty active. In Adam's there are 3 of the 8 children that are active. But I was very happy to see yesterday that they all sang the hymns and went up and sang as the whole family song at the end of the service. And they all cried!! I've never seen any of them cry in the 11 months of marriage to Adam! So it was good to see that. I love his siblings no matter what! They are all amazing and I'm truly grateful to have such a great in-law family!! They're the best.. of course in 2nd place to my family!! I love my own family too!! They are always there for me and I'm so lucky to have such great families on BOTH sides!! :)
I'm truly blessed and I know that! And I'm even more blessed to have such a gorgeous son!! He wore a vest to the funeral and the whole Benson clan remarked over and over that Adam and I did a GOOD job and that he's a GORGEOUS baby.. We know :) haha.. We love him!

thats so cool that you guys will have your year anniversary next month!! in less than that now, huh?? YAY!! Hopefully you can get a babysitter and go do something fun! :)
