Newlywed Game!

So the family party was really fun! The dinner was very yummy! The drinks were interesting. They were the Halloween themed drinks from Jones. But I just had water.

Then after dinner, Adam's dad said, "Now when I get in the state of Grandpa, do not force me to eat." That sparked a funny conversation about his funeral and how he can buy caskets at COSTCO of all places!! haha..

After that, Adam's Mom came in with a board of all the couples names together and Eric & Scott together (The two single brothers..) with boxes underneath. She announced we were going to play the NEWLYWED GAME!

That was so fun!! The men answered the questions first while the girls and Scott (19 year old) went into the TV room. That in itself was hilarious having Scott come with us! And how Eric and Scott were a "couple." Which everyone brought up the fact that Colleen (Adam's mom) wanted Eric and Scott to get a picture together since all the other siblings had couple pictures taken by the oldest sister Amber. I think you'd have to be there to get the hilarious-ness of the situation!! Haha.. But anyway.. Back to the game! The questions were really funny and the fact that the men didn't know most of their wives'/partner's answers or what they would have said and how they were so quick to apologize and quiver! haha.. But Adam and I got second place- okay we were tied for 2nd with Eric and Scott.. Which I think is pretty sad.. Adam and I have known each other for over a year and a half - and the brothers haven't lived with each other for some years and we both beat the couples that have been married and together for quite a while!! Haha.. :) I think I know Adam QUITE well.. The game was just hilarious and fun!

Cayden did pretty good.. Amber was holding him and he filled his shorts! Then while we played the game Grandpa took him! He did pretty well until it was the girls turn to write down the answers and the men guessed. Then I held him and Grandpa showed my answers! Haha..

All in all was a really great night!! I'm very lucky to have family close by!! I wish it was BOTH of our families were close!!! As in SARAH MOVE TO SALT LAKE!! :) AND MOM.. YOU TOO!! I love my families!!!
