Recap of the Doctor's Appointment

So.. The doctor's appointment went okay.. I got there on time at 11:15 (my appt. time) and didn't get called back til 12:15! How crazy is that?! So I was like great I'm going to be missing more of work.. Fabulous! Then I pee in the cup for the nurse, get weighed (only gained 3 pounds in 3 weeks!) and then go into my room to wait.. for another 25 minutes! But as I was being put in my room, the nurse told me that Dr. Carlton (my doc) had an emergency at the hospital this morning.. In other words, she DELIVERED A BABY!!!! How crazy.. She came to the office in her scrubs and tennis shoes! I'm so excited!! Haha.. But waiting for another 25 minutes, I was getting really frustrated and just irritated that I was waiting so long without entertainment- ADAM! We probably would have made out or something! Hahaha.. Just joking!! Thats gross.. ;) Anywho.. As I'm waiting I'm listening to the girl in the next room just gab and gab and gab! She was the girl who struck up a 5 minute conversation with me in the waiting room about how she's so uncomfortable sleeping.. Obviously Lady, we're all uncomfy! We have a BABY in my TUMMY that won't let us sleep the way we USED to.. and We probably never will go back to that.. So deal with it.. and Lo and Behold, can you guess what she was talking to Dr. Carlton about in the next room? UNCOMFY SLEEPING! Seriously, I got over the 2nd day I didn't sleep comfortable.. Goodness.. Haha.. So as I'm listening, I hear Dr. Carlton say her infamous line "okie doke??" about a million times as she's trying to end the visit. Then I hear the loud thump-thump-thump of the heart monitor for the lady's baby. Then she talks some more! Finally Dr. Carlton comes in and apologizes for the wait, which I'm kinda okay with by this point cause I just was missing work (which was somewhat good for my sanity). Anyway.. I ask her a couple of questions and then we listen to Cayden's heart beat.. "Perfect little heart beat" and then she measured me.. I think she measured me before the heart beat listening but either way she still did. And I'm at 32.. whatever.. I'm not sure if its inches or centimeters! But she said that usually the 32 whatevers correlates to how many weeks you are.. And that saturday I was going to be 32 weeks! TODAY I HAVE 53 DAYS!!!
So anyway, then she says that I"m going to schedule my next 3 appointments but the lady at the front didn't understand the Doctor secret language on the paper I gave her! So I only got the one for August 22nd.. Then I'll have one the week of September 3rd to 7th.. then the next week right after that.. then it goes EVERYWEEK!! I'm getting nervous just thinking about how scary its going to be to go in labor.. I wonder if its genetic the way your mother and sisters have gone into labor?! I hope I go overdue.. kinda.. haha Anyway I just got ANOTHER BIG PROJECT!! And the last time I did this project it took me nearly TWO WEEKS!! And guess when the guy wants it.... MONDAY OR TUESDAY!! Fabulous.. So.. I got to get going.. Especially since I am leaving early Friday by TWO PM to GO TO CEDAR!! YAY!! Anywho.. Have a wonderful spectacular day!!!
