Baby Shower Weekend!

I had so much fun this weekend with my familia!! My sister Sarah threw a baby shower for me, with the help of a wonderful friend Katie Jo! The morning of the shower, my mom came and got me for breakfast at IHOP and then we went to get pedicures!

Now the pedicures were interesting. Of course the people there were Asian and didn't speak English very well! But when the lady did my toes, she told me I put too much pressure on my feet, the way the skin grows shows that I have pain in my feet.. Well let's see.. I'm pregnant. I've gained about 25 pounds!! Of course I'm putting pressure on my feet!! Haha.. And I only have 6 weeks and 4 days! Isn't that insane?!?! 46 DAYS! Wow..

Anyway.. The lady was picking away whatever they pick away at.. and she made my big toe BLEED!! And then after she made it stop the stuff she puts on to conceal or whatever the stuff was, made my toe STING! It was insane! But anyway.. The color I got was a reddish color!! Which for me is new, cause I usually paint my own toes with pinkish colors! So yay! And my mom's toes are really cute as well.. Once I get pictures from Sarah and Mom, I'll have to post them!!

When we got to the pedicure place it was 10:45 and they said they could take us at 11. But they put me in an empty chair almost right away (after I went to the bathroom of course) and then set my mom across the aisle away from me! :( But since she probably wouldn't get done before we had to be there at the shower (which was 11:30), Katie Jo and Laura came and got me!

The shower was so cute and fun! We had people painting little onesies!! And burp rags! They turned out so cute!! Cayden's definitely going to wear all of them.. :)

We got a lot of great stuff!! We got the cutest clothes, a fabulous quilt made by Katie Jo, TWO bath tubs (can never have enough.. hehe), a stroller, a car seat, a swing!! Just a bunch of great stuff!!! I'm so grateful and excited for this little guy to come out!!!! :)

The Food was yummy too!! Aunt Karen made a salad (which since I don't like salads, didn't try), Katie Jo made an artichoke dip, brought awesome Frog cookies and CHEESECAKE!! Yummy!!! Then we had fruit salads :) and a yummy dipping sauce for that.. It was just yummy! :)

I had a lot of fun! And I'm happy everyone who got to come came! It was small and simple which is better for me and my nervousness! When I get nervous, I sweat! And I'm already burning up cause of the whole pregnancy thing.. but man.. I sweat so bad when I get nervous and put on the spot!! Haha..

Anyway.. After a long weekend of driving and hanging out with the family, I was excited to come home! I missed Adam a lot!! And it was nice seeing him and hugging him!! He truly is my best friend and I wouldn't trade him for anything or anyone!! :) He missed Cayden too! Hehe.. I love how Adam talks to Cayden and sometimes rubs my belly! He's going to make a really great father!! :) And I'm excited to share that experience with him! Adam was really excited to see everything and help bring it up three flights of stairs!! Haha.. One of our neighbors almost had a heart attack asking if the baby came! Haha.. It was funny..
